Working In Divine Timing
I was able to catch the Northern Lights “by chance” in my front yard trying to take a photo of something else, the night before a trip to Ireland.
Author’s Note: This is a continuation from the piece “Earth is Calling”. I will be diving into the 7 Heavenly Virtues and how to weave them into our community. Each week there will be one piece on the 7 Heavenly Virtues and one piece on the 7 Deadly Sins. I don’t follow a religion but do believe how these energies appear in the Human Collective. The intention of this piece is for reflection and perspective shifts.
Messages in Divine timing, you’ve got to appreciate them. Just as I was sitting down to write this piece wondering where to start, this song was playing in the background.

Nahko himself is a Light Worker and Medicine Worker. He uses his music as the medicine to bring healing and awareness to those that listen. This song came out in 2010 and he states in the song, “this is the medicine, there is a message within, and people will find it in their own time.” That’s what Prudence is. Weaving medicine in the web of Light knowing that what you are doing is feeding medicine into the Human Collective and allowing it to be found at the proper timing time.
As Healers, Light Workers, and Light Walkers there is a huge sense of urgency coming from our Guides. They want us to make a deep impact immediately. Yet, we must remember that our version of deep impact is different than theirs. Our Guides, Ancestors, and Angels simply want us to just start the work! That’s the urgency “Stop waiting and just do it already!” This doesn't mean we have to be a pro; We must be gentle with ourselves and allow it to unfold at the right timing.
The deep impact they’re looking for is that first step we take. Think about it as our Light Footprint, the movement we make on the path of Light Wisdom. The moment we step onto our path, we start a chain reaction that weaves paths for future generations to follow. Every Healer, Light Worker and Light Walker stepping onto this path, is someone that is metaphorically taking a hammer to the veil. Cracking it little a more with each new Light Footprint, allowing it to be thinner for the next generations.
We may not see the results of the work we are doing today. We may not even see the results in our lifetime. Regardless, we signed up to do the work, that’s why we are here right now, in this time. As Healers, Light Workers, and Light Walkers we should know that all this work takes time and it’s going to take the time it needs. We are not in control. As the Healers, Light Workers, and Light Walkers of the Elder generations from the 60s and 70s can probably attest, it took a long time for the work to become mainstream. Selfcare wasn’t even a term I heard growing up, but over the last decade it has become a movement.
The problem is that we are in such a rhythm of instant gratification in this capitalistic world, that we're now bringing that to our community. You can become a Reiki Master in a weekend. You can become an Herbalist in two weeks. You can also become a Shaman at a month-long Shaman retreat. These are real ads I’ve seen! You can pretty much become anything in the Healer, Light Worker, and Light Walker path overnight it seems. We need to start a movement to bring Prudence back to the mainstream of our community.
We know the proper way to create connection and understanding with our work in Light Wisdom, by taking our time, allowing the work to unfold both in our internal and our external world. In the way it’s supposed unfold. Walking into this type of work is something that we make a long-term commitment to. It takes time, it takes patience, and it takes a huge amount of compassion and grace for oneself for all the darkness that follows.
We also know the whirlwind of chaos that ensues when we start on this path. It's like someone picks up the bottle we’re in, shakes everything up then sets us back down and opens the top. Sometimes we don't even know which way is up. It takes time to figure all of that out. It takes time for us to move into true alignment with our gifts and abilities so that we may use them for the highest good.
I don't know about you, but when a brand-new Healer, Light Worker, or Light Walker starts telling me how easy breezy everything is going for them and how quickly their following is increasing; I realize they're not really doing the work. They're not diving down into that deep space to heal themselves to make sure they are in alignment with their practices and make the sacrifices required to do the work.
Part of this is caused by that Spiritual Ego. There it is, raising its head again. Even with Prudence we must remember to keep ourselves in check with our Spiritual Ego. We are here to do the work and we are here to do the work right. It's not about how many followers we have. It's about the seeds we plant and the paths we create for those to come.
A Grand Ascended Master I once heard speak, said;
“it only takes one person to create a ripple effect in the Web of Light. If you plant a seed, awaken, or heal one person, that person spreads that Light Wisdom to 10 other people. Those 10 people spread the Light Wisdom to 10 additional people EACH and so on and so on.”
It may not happen overnight, but it will happen over time. I took that to heart, and oh boy did that take pressure off my shoulders.
If you think about it, that means we can assist 101 people with Light Wisdom just by working with ONE person. By giving ourselves the time to truly connect with the work, we can give more quality work out to the world. Creating a ripple effect, like waves in the sea for future generations to come.
We must remember how we got onto this path in the first place. It was divine timing! It was about the Light Wisdom “medicine” reaching us when we were ready and willing to listen, feel, and recognize it. Starting with a seed, who knows who planted it, but when it sparked to life, we nurtured that seed and it blossomed into where we are now.
As we work and share Light Wisdom to those around us, we must remember to be as gentle as that one person that planted our seed. Never forcing, just gently dropping it in and allowing it to spark to life when the time is right.
We are not in control, and the more we attempt to control Light Wisdom the farther we get from alignment and our purpose. Weaving Prudence into our community is less about how many people we will heal or awaken and more about the ripple effect that is created from the work we do. Every Light Walker, Light Worker, and Healer is uniquely beautiful and needed for their individual sovereignty and Light Footprint, to bring the human collective back into the rhythm of the Earth. Gently reconnecting and bringing us back into alliance with the Ancestors, Elements, the Creatures, the Divine, and the Patterns of Light Wisdom. Allowing it to gently and naturally unfold in Divine timing.
